Mrs. Slater
My family
On July 11th, 2015 I married my best friend in Rockford, Washington. My husband and I had been together for over 7 years before marrying. We met in high school and I can't imagine life without him.

On the far left is my brother, Matthew. He is an Engineer in Carrolton, Texas! My dad is next in line and my mom is on the far right! They live in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. I wouldn't be where I am today without the support, encouragement and love from my wonderful family.
Mr. Slater
Here we are celebrating our two year anniversary in  Julian, California. We love to hike, explore new places in California, workout, travel, try new foods, and watch MMA. My husband is heavily involved and committed to Jiujitsu and I am involved in Muay Thai and boxing. This man keeps me grounded and can always make me laugh!
Meatball Slater
I love being called Mrs. Slater by my students, but my other favorite title is Dog Mom! We welcomed Meatball (yes, his name is really MEATBALL) home on June 9th, 2017. Our lives have forever changed with this Bullmastiff puppy around. If you know me you know I am one those people who talks about their dog like he is my child. Meatball is now 11 months old and he loves slobbering, laying on top of Mr. Slater and I, observing, playing with his dog friends, being lazy, and going for SLOW walks. He also really enjoys to swallow socks whole. If I am not teaching, I am usually spending my time with this furry guy and the husband!
